About Us
Built on stone, grown over generations
Victoria Landscaping Ltd was founded in 1969 by Manuel Furtado, whose vision for the company was simple: do the work right, and let the results speak for themselves. Over five decades later, that vision still shapes everything we build.
Today, the company is led by Carlos Furtado, who brings 35 years of hands-on experience in the landscaping field. A graduate of the Camosun College Horticultural program, Carlos is also a certified ICPI paver installer and a Master Mason — credentials that show up in the precision of every retaining wall, patio, and planting bed we complete.
Our team is built the same way: skilled stonemasons trained in traditional European techniques, horticultural technicians, and certified paver installers who treat every property — residential or commercial — with the same standard of care.
We're proud members of the BC Landscape and Nursery Association, the ICPI Association, and the Better Business Bureau, and we hold ourselves to the standards that come with each of those memberships.

Owner
Carlos Furtado
"We believe a great landscape is built, not just installed. Our goal is to bring the highest standard of quality and service to every property we touch — designing and building outdoor spaces that fit your life, your budget, and the way you actually want to use your yard. Whether it's a backyard retreat for your family or a commercial site that needs to perform for years, we look forward to building it with you."
