The Project
The new 443 Squadron Facility at the airport required major site prep before any planting could begin — a large-scale job involving significant soil import, grading, and hydroseeding across a huge footprint.
The Process
We brought in approximately 2,000 cubic yards of soil and raked out 20,000 square metres of area by hand and machine, preparing the full site for planting. Once the grading was complete, the entire area was hydroseeded — an efficient, cost-effective way to establish grass cover across a site this large, without the cost or labour of full sod installation.
The Result
A properly graded, soil-prepped site ready for healthy grass establishment across the full 20,000 m² footprint — a job that took real manpower and heavy equipment to pull off at this scale.
