The Project
At Elkington Forest Estates near Shawnigan Lake, we landscaped the development's show home and restored the surrounding park area, bringing a natural, peaceful character back to the space with native plantings and thoughtfully placed boulders.
The Process
We planted native species throughout the park area to restore its natural character, placed boulders to define the landscape, and installed river rock in the swales to manage drainage naturally. Mulch was added throughout to finish the beds and support the new plantings.
The Result
A peaceful, naturalized park area paired with a beautifully landscaped show home — a space that feels like it's always belonged to the forest around it.
